Abstract

|
Dress is the total arrangement of all the outwardly detectible modifications of a person´s body and all material objects added to it. Within the social order, dress serves two basic functions for human beings: it serves as a physical environment and as a means of communication. Dress functions as a physical environment may serve as micro-environment and an interface between body and macro-environment.
This study is designed to find out the relationship between physical comfortness and wettability, which is one of the main factors as a micro0environment for physical comfortness, and fabric density and wettability. The results of the research are as follows:
1. The larger degree Cosθ(F_w/F_o)is, the more physical comfortness the consumer feel.
2. There is no definite relationship between fabric density and wettability.
